The INFOOD NETWORK project – funded by the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission - facilitates the participation of small and medium farms in EU research and increases their cooperation and innovation with regards to technologies and methods for improving the management of environmental, safety and traceability aspects related to food. An information system makes easier the exchange of solutions between farms. By bringing together their experience and by jointly tackling new issues, the farms develop a higher level of know-how, increase their competitiveness and credibility.
